Train Up Learning Center in Iuka is an early learning childcare and education center for ages one to pre-K – until this fall! Preregistration is now underway for a kindergarten class with seating limited to twelve students. Children with no prior enrollment in public school are eligible to register.
The curriculum planned for the class is through Abeka, a company producing quality learning materials written from a Christian perspective. The students will also learn basic Spanish, which is exciting because learning a second language has proven brain health benefits.
Kindergarten school hours are 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, with before- and after-school care available for an additional fee.
The learning center participates in the Child Care Payment Program (CCPP), a federally funded program designed to provide qualifying parents and guardians with childcare tuition assistance. For the program guidelines and application, interested parents may visit mdhs.ms.gov/eccd/parent-information/.
Early registration is $40 by July 14 and $50 after that date. To register, contact the Train Up Learning Center at 662-550-5842 or email trainuplearningcenter@gmail.com.
