In a thrilling season opener, quarterback Eli Edwards of Tishomingo County dominated with electrifying runs, notching touchdowns of three and nine yards in the second and fourth quarters. Adding to the excitement, Brooks Keith lit up the field with a spectacular 30-yard punt return, sealing the Braves’ triumphant victory.

“It wasn’t our best performance but it’s good to be 1-0,” Tishomingo County coach Cory Quinn said. “We need to regroup this week, find a groove and get back to our style of football.”
