Homecoming Fifth Street Baptist Church

Fifth Street Baptist Church will celebrate its annual homecoming on Sunday, September 10. The special guests will be The Ross Family from Israel (missionaries to Israel) at 10:30. Special Music will be provided by Unity 4 at 11:00. There will be a homecoming meal at noon followed by music by the Unity 4 at 1:15. Everyone is welcome to come to celebrate with us.

Decoration Day at Sardis Baptist

Sardis Baptist Church on County Road 169 is having their Decoration Day on Sunday, September 3. Preaching is at 11, with meal following at 12. Bring a dish and have some fun. Cemetery funds are needed.

Revival at Fifth Street Baptist Church

Fifth Street Baptist Church in Iuka is planning revival services for October 15-18. The special Speaker will be Bro. David Long. There will be special music nightly. Services will be Sunday morning at 11 a.m., Sunday night at 6 p.m. (meal after Sunday night service). Monday thru Wednesday 7 p.m. nightly. Church phone: 662-423-9556. Dr. Tony Curtis and the congregation invite everyone to attend.

Closing

The Tishomingo County Courthouse will be closed Monday in observance of Labor Day. Landfill will run as normal.

Central School Reunion

The Central School Reunion will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at JP Coleman State Park. Doors will open at 10:00 AM and a potluck lunch will be served at 12 noon. All former Alumni and friends are invited to attend.

Mt. Vernon Homecoming

Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, located at 16 County Road 420 Iuka, Mississippi, is having their annual homecoming service Sunday, September 10. Congregational singing along with special music by church talent will begin at 10:00 am. At 11:00, there will be more singing followed by a message by our pastor, Bro. Mike Haynes. A fellowship meal will be served around noon. There will be no afternoon or evening services. Everyone is invited to attend.

Antioch Cemetery Fund

Maintenance and upkeep for the cemetery continues for the summer. Funds are running low and we would like to ask friends and family members to contribute to cemetery fund. Contributions can be mailed to: Antioch Free Will Baptist Church
