Jamie Stuart To Serve As New Tishomingo County Sheriff Beginning in January

Jamie Stuart, who led the Republican ballot last week in the race for Tishomingo County Sheriff, will take over the position in January of 2024.

The only Democratic candidate for Sheriff, Freddie Means from Belmont, officially withdrew from the race on Thursday, reports the County Circuit Clerk’s office, making Jamie the winner for the office of sheriff.

Jamie is 43 years old, a native of Tishomingo County, and has been in law enforcement for 20 years. He is married to Courtney Stuart and they have 2 children, Jackson and Hunter.
