Rebecca “Becky” Smith, 78, of Pickwick, Tennessee, died on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at Parkrest Nursing Home in Savannah, Tennesse. She enjoyed sitting at her kitchen table reading cookbooks, cooking, and visiting with friends and family. She was a member of Pickwick Church of Christ. She is survived by her sons, Joe Carmack (Krystal) of Counce, Tennessee, Tim Carmack of Dallas, TX, and Thomas Smith (Ginger) of Pickwick, Tennessee; her daughters, Sherry Gammill (Phillip) and Carolyn Gant (Sam); her grandchildren, Alex Barnhill (Andrew), Camron Gant, Jacob Carmack, Seth Gant, Landon Smith, and DIllon Carmack; her sisters, Delores Rast of Iuka, Mississippi and Donna Bullock of Russellville, Alabama; her brothers, Tommy Hurley of Counce, Tennessee and Mike Hurley of Counce, Tennessee; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Jack Smith; her parents, Thomas Joseph and Reba June Kean Hurley; and her sister, Joyce Smith. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, Mississippi is entrusted with the arrangements.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, July 13, 2022, from 5 pm until 8 pm, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Graveside services are scheduled for Thursday, July 14, 2022, for 1 pm, at White Sulphur Cemetery in Pickwick Dam, officiated by Aaron Patterson. Burial will be in White Sulphur Cemetery.
