Mary Joyce Miles Littlejohn died July 11, 2022 in Iuka, Mississippi, age 74 years, four months and eighteen days. She was born February 23, 1948 in Booneville, Mississippi the daughter of the late Roy Miles and Verda Ardine Knight Miles.
She was united in marriage to Johnny Wayne Littlejohn on December 2, 2006. Mr. Littlejohn preceded her in death on September 13, 2018.
Joyce was a member of Jumpertown Apostolic Church. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning, sewing, raising Pomeranian puppies, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Jimmy Brown (Carrie) of Burnsville, Mississippi; stepson, Corey Littlejohn (Regina) of Bethel Springs, Tennessee; six grandchildren: Joey Brown (Arirel), Ashley McCully (Mikie), Jimmy Dewayne Brown, Joey Littlejohn (Leigha), Kayla Littlejohn (Brandon), Jacob Littlejohn; nine great grandchildren: Aden Cox, Kaylee Brown, Paisley Cox, Avalea Parker, Emily Brown, Jase Brown, Alexander Littlejohn, Dakoda Littlejohn, Skylar Garland; two sisters, Faye Thomas (James) of New Site, Mississippi, Ilene Russell (Jimmy) of Booneville, Mississippi; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Littlejohn was preceded in death by a sister, Elaine Roach and husband JT; and a brother, Jimmy Miles.
Visitation was Tuesday, July 12, 2022 from 6 - 9 pm and on Wednesday from 11 am until services at 1 pm all held at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Selmer, Tennessee, with Buddy Durham officiating. Burial will follow in the Littlejohn Family Cemetery in Corinth, Mississippi.
