Winona Catherine White, 86, of Iuka, MS, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at her residence. She enjoyed being a wife, mother, and grandmother, and taking care of her family. She was a member of Iuka Baptist Church and was involved with the cooking crew. She was known for her visits to the local nursing homes and bringing home-cooked meals to those who were sick.
She is survived by her husband of 70 plus years, Berlin White; her children, Debbie Moening (Mike) and Terry White (Denean); her grandchildren, Abby Brumley (Garrett) and Luke White (Anna); her great-grandchildren, Caroline White, Michael White, Ben Brumley, and Reese Brumley; her siblings, Pat Garrison, and Harry Adams (Susie); and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vester and Audie Adams; and her sisters, Martha Miller, and Aliene Forbert.
Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, October 28, 2023, from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Iuka Baptist Church. Services are scheduled for Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 3:00 P.M. at Iuka Baptist Church, officiated by Dr. Kara Blackard. Burial will follow in Cypress Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Luke White, Garrett Brumley, Earl Walker, Chase Kay, Lee Miller, and Ricky Miller. Donations may be made in Mrs. Winona’s honor to the Iuka Baptist Church.
