Three straight wins for the Lady Braves allow them to wrap up the #2 seed in the MHSAA playoffs. Their first was last Monday at North Pontotoc. The Lady Vikings took them all the way to the fifth set, but in the end the Lady Braves fought back and won it late in the contest. Then on Tuesday, they hosted Corinth to wrap up division play during the regular season. The Lady Braves swept the Lady Warriors, winning the contest 3-0. Then on Thursday, TC made the long road trip to Columbus. It was another great performance for the team, as they swept the Falcons 3-0. 
The Lady Braves will wrap up the regular season with an away game on Monday, October 3 against Walnut, and then senior night is at home on Tuesday, October 4 against Saltillo. 
Richardson best drum major again
The band continues to shine at the Northeast Mississippi Community College Band Competition. This competition was a rankings-only style, and The Pride of the Tribe showed out. The band scored all superior ratings, and Cole Richardson scored best in class for drum major.
Football plays Caledonia for Homecoming
Friday’s game was another tough loss for the TC Braves football team. Starting off division play last Friday night, the Braves faced a tough opponent in the Itawamba AHS Indians. The final score was 48-0. TC will look to rebound against Caledonia.
This Friday night is a very special one. When the Braves take on the Cavaliers, it will be homecoming night. Homecoming at TCHS has been wrapped up in fun activities and dress up days, and the football team will look to cap it all off with a huge division win Friday night.
