TC ballers deliver victories over Alcorn Central

Starting off the week for the basketball program was the Lady Braves, as they made a solo trip to Biggersville to take on the Lady Lions. The hostile environment proved too much as they fell 65-54.
Struggles in the first half lead to a big gap at the break, but they showed resilience to keep fighting to the very end of the game
This determination would be rewarded on Friday, when they took on the Alcorn Central Golden Bears. The Lady Braves got a 47-39 victory in a very defensive affair. With the team trending up, they will have two very tough matchups this week.
On the boys’ side of things, they managed a 60-52 victory over Alcorn Central. Connor Bullen made a huge impact on the game, leading in scoring and rebounds for the team. This was a very positive night for both teams, and they look to carry the momentum towards this week’s schedule where they take on Saltillo on the road on November 8, then Belmont at home on November 11.
TCHS Bowling opens season with a win
On November 2, the TCHS bowling team started their season as they played an away game against the Mantachie Mustangs. This was the season opener, and all the off-season work paid off. They were able to get the win, and it was a monumental one. This was the first career win for new head coach, Coach Forrest Wright. They now sit at 1-0, and can take some momentum into the rest of the season.
