After years at the Lodge at Tishomingo State Park, Northeast Mississippi Community Services is pleased to announce the “adult day care” group will be meeting at the historic Midway School on Highway 364.
Friends, officials and participants were on hand last Thursday for a Grand Opening of the new location, as pictured above. The Edna Cook Program, named in honor of longtime director Edna Cook, provides social events and lunch daily for dozens of older Tishomingo County residents. Administrators pick up the participants on bus routes throughout the county, and they all enjoy games, singing and being able to visit. For more information call director Deb Lovelace at 662.423.8024.
