Rhodia Mae Gray, 91, of Burnsville, Mississippi, died on Sunday, February 26, 2023, in her home surrounded by loved ones. She was a very kind, giving, and gentle person. She loved quilting, flowers, and gardening. Most of all, however, she loved spending time with her family. She will forever be remembered by her children and friends. Mrs. Rhodia is survived by her daughters, Cindy Appleby of Spring Grove, IL, and Kathie Gray of Burnsville, MS; her son-in-law, Randall Martin; her siblings, Wanda South Rhodes (the late Don), Arlie South (Jewell), Howard South (Viola), and Peggy South Thorne (Hosea); her grandchildren, Robert Appleby, Kathleen Appleby, and Jason Martin; and her 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wesley Gray; her parents, Robert Lee and Bernice Marlar South; her daughter, Glenda Gray Martin; her siblings, Kenneth South, Roy South, and Annie Lee South; and her granddaughter Melanie Martin Kuklewski. Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 3, 2023, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen, MS. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen, MS, officiated by Bro. Roger Pounders. Pallbearers include Arlie South, Jeff South, Howard South, Ricky South, Dennis South, and Hosea Thorne. Interment will be in Harmony Hill Cemetery.
