It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Lessie Marie Ramsey of Dothan, Alabama, born in Iuka, Mississippi, who passed away on May 31, 2023, at the age of 78. She will always be remembered for her addictive personality and her infectious smile.
She was predeceased by her mother Lessie Lee Clark; her father Herbert Cox; her husband Carl Eugene Ramsey; and her brother Harold Gene Clark. She is survived by: her children, Zina Michele Davis, Bonnie Carla Dunsford (Douglas), Christopher Joel Ramsey, and Jeffrey Thomas Eugene Ramsey (Heather); her grandchildren, Jennifer Alt, Ashley Parker, Caleb Davis, Madison Gill, Isabella Dunsford, Kevin Gill, Jordan Gill, Phillip Ramsey, Briana Ramsey, Cambria Ramsey, Allison Sullivan and Joshua Ramsey; her sister Barbara Totherow; and her sister-in-law Barbara Clark; and her adopted brother Shane Dees (Greta). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren. Internment will be at Providence Cemetery in Iuka.
