NOTICE is hereby given to all persons having claims against the Estate of Tommy Jack Ramsey, Deceased, that Letters Testamentary were granted the undersigned as Co-Executors of said estate by the Chancery Court of said county, on the 15th day of February, 2023, and all persons holding claims against said estate are hereby notified to have same probated and registered, according to law, by the Chancery Clerk, within ninety (90) days from the date this notice was first published, which was the 23rd day of February, 2023, and said ninety (90) days will expire on the 24th day of May, 2023, otherwise such claim or claims, not so probated, will be forever barred.

OF THE COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE REGULATION AND ZONING ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED that Section 600.24 of the Comprehensive Land Use Regulation and Zoning Ordinance adopted August 6, 2013, be amended to read as follows:
600.24 Junk Yard: Any place where waste and discarded or salvaged materials are bought, sold, exchanged, baled, packed, stored, disassembled, or handled, including auto-wrecking yards, house-wrecking yards, used lumberyards, and places or yards for storage of salvaged items of any type, including inoperable vehicles, house wrecking and structural steel materials and equipment, regardless of the amount thereof; but not including such places where such uses are conducted entirely within a completely enclosed building, and not including pawn shops and establishments for the sale, purchase, or storage of used furniture and household equipment, used cars in operable condition, or salvaged materials incidental to manufacturing operations.

BE IT ORDAINED that Section 705 be added to the Comprehensive Land Use Regulation and Zoning Ordinance adopted August 6, 2013, as follows:
705 Inoperable vehicles. No unlicensed or inoperable automobile, motorcycle, trailer, travel trailer, recreational vehicle, or motor home shall be stored upon any lot or parcel of land within the city limits.
To be effective one month from passage.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids for INDUSTRIAL BUILDING CONSTRUCTION will be received by TISHOMINGO COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI until 10 a.m. on Friday, April 14, 2023 and then publicly opened and read aloud. Work shall be for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete the Project.
Contract documents, including drawings and specifications, may be examined at the office of Dean McRae Engineering, Inc., located at 308 Grisham Street, Iuka, Mississippi. Bid documents may be purchased by contracting Dean McRae Engineering, 662.423.9104. Cost of the plans are $50, which is non-refundable.
The overall scope of work consists of construction of a 100’ x 50’ x 14’ high Industrial Building at the Northeast Mississippi Waterfront Industrial Park, Burnsville, MS, as shown on the Contract Drawings.
Each bid submitted must be marked on the outside “INDUSTRIAL BUILDING CONSTRUCTION.” Any bid more than $50,000 must contain on the outside of the envelope the contractor’s current certificate of responsibility number, and no bid shall be opened or considered unless this number appears on the outside of the envelope or unless a statement is included on the outside of the envelope indicating that the bid enclosed does not exceed $50,000.
A satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an accepted Surety, a certified check, or bank draft payable to TISHOMINGO COUNTY shall be submitted with each bid in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid.
A Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, with a corporate surety approved by the OWNER, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract.
In the letting of public contracts, preference shall be given to resident contractors, and a nonresident bidder domiciled in a state having laws granting preference to local contractors shall be awarded Mississippi public contracts only on the same basis as the nonresident bidder’s state awards contracts to Mississippi contractors bidding under similar circumstances; and resident contractors actually domiciled in Mississippi, be they corporate, individuals, or partnerships, are to be granted preference over nonresidents in awarding of contracts in the same manner and to the same extent as provided by the laws of the state of domicile of the nonresident. When a nonresident contractor submits a bid for a public project, he shall attach thereto a copy of his resident state’s current law pertaining to such state’s treatment of nonresident contractors. Any bid submitted by a nonresident contractor which does not include the nonresident contractor’s current state law shall be rejected and not considered for award.
The right is reserved, as TISHOMINGO COUNTY may require, to reject any, or all, bids and to waive any informality in the bids received.
Bids may be held up to 60 days from the date of opening for review of bids and qualifications of bidders prior to Contract award.
