Glenn Stewart Whitlock, 66, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Friday, July 21, 2023, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. Glenn graduated from the North Mississippi Law Enforcement Training Center and spent a long career in law enforcement. Over the years, he served as a patrolman and assistant chief of police with the Iuka Police Department and was also a deputy with the Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Department. He was elected and served as Tishomingo County Sheriff from 2004 through 2015. He also spent time working with the Itawamba Community College Campus Police. Glenn enjoyed hunting and firearms. He also loved farming and taking care of his animals. He is survived by two sons, Zach Whitlock (Amanda) and Jacob Whitlock (Lindsey); one daughter, Salome Williams (Stephen); one brother, Paul Whitlock; one sister, Barbara Hathcock; and five grandchildren, Audrey Williams, Elisabeth Williams, Meredith Williams, Ava Whitlock, and Jackson Whitlock. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hezzie and Rhoda Walker Whitlock; and a brother, James Whitlock. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 25, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Michael Lambert. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jon Paul Whitlock, Mike Kemp, Benny Parrish, Ricky Cornelison, Randy Stringer, Albert Duckett, James Crowell, and Jordan Provins. Visitation is scheduled for 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 24, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka.
