Last Friday the football team took another blow with a 47-7 loss to Kossuth on the road. The Braves, coming off a rough loss, looked to improve their season and make a statement. Kossuth had other plans. The Aggies are a very stout, very strong opponent and it’s not an easy task to play against them. On top of all of that, it was the Aggies homecoming game, so the Maroon and White faithful were out in bunches Friday night.
The Braves couldn’t seem to get anything to go their way during the game, and they would end up losing 47-7.
The only touchdown they scored was off of a Chandler Williams TD pass to Eli Edwards. The Braves will try to rebound with another road trip next Friday as they take on South Pontotoc.
