This basketball season unofficially kicked off last Saturday at the TC Gymnasium, where both the girls and boys teams had games. The Lady Braves started the day off with a hard fought 31-27 loss to Biggersville, but followed it up with a 43-15 beat down of Hatley. The JV girls also had a win, 24-12 over New Site.
The boys opened up their day with an exciting 35-34 win, capped off with an Aiden McDeavitt buzzer beater. The boys wrapped up their day with a tough 28-19 loss to Smithville.
