For the first time in a long time, TCHS only had one sport that hosted an event last week. However, it certainly was a big one. The Braves football team hosted the Mooreville Troopers for senior night, and the Braves were able to scrape by with a 33-24 win at home. This was their first division win since 2017 against Byhalia, and first division win for head coach Cory Quinn. Chandler Williams made sure to show up and show out in his final home game, running circles around the Mooreville defense. The Braves star wideout, Landon Hemphill, also had a great last home game. For the defense, they were able to force the Troopers into mistakes as turnovers killed any chance that the team in green had at winning. This Thursday, November 27 the Braves will play in the regular season finale on the road against the Corinth Warriors. With a playoff berth on the line, the Braves look to send their season forward instead of ending it prematurely.
