Bobby Howard Paden, 88, of Iuka, Mississippi, died on Friday, July 7, 2023, in his home. Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, Mississippi, is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation was Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral was Sunday, July 9, 2023, at Cutshall Funeral Home, officiated by Keith Curtis. He is buried at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Bobby was a lifetime member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church in Iuka and had served in the National Guard. If there was one thing everyone knew about Mr. Bobby, it was that he loved his job. He owned and operated The Clothes Cottage and Bobby Paden Sales in Iuka for many years. When he wasn’t working, he found joy in traveling and spending as much time with his family as he could. Mr. Bobby is survived by his daughters, Nan Phifer (Kenny) and Jill Long (Ricky); his grandchildren, Lindsey Casabella (Ryan), Grant Phifer (Anna Grace), Jonathan Phifer (Nicole), Molly Mathis (Cory), Maggie Long, and Madelyn Long; his great-grandchildren, Emma Casabella, Carter Casabella, Ava Casabella, Jewell Phifer, Jack Phifer, Owen Mathis, and Knox Mathis; his brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Paula Curtis; and a host of other nieces, nephews, and family members. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Audra L. Paden; his daughter, Lisa Wise; his parents, Taft and Faye Paden; and his siblings, Sarah Lunsford and John W. Paden Pallbearers include Grant Phifer, Jonathan Phifer, Cory Mathis, Ryan Casabella, Carter Casabella, and Brett Malone.
