Band Camp was another success. The kids worked really hard and sound wonderful! Our first chance to hear and see them will be at the “Fall Meet the Braves” event on Friday, August 12th at 6 p.m. at the high school stadium. Admission is free and the concession stand will be open. It is a night to recognize the band, Football, Cheer, volleyball, and cross country.
We had several businesses and churches that helped by providing lunch for our kids every day:
Brian and LeAnne Anglin - O’Claire’s Boutique
Ryan Glover - The Bridge Church at Burnsville
First Freewill Baptist Church - Iuka
Oakland Baptist Church - Corinth
First American Bank- Iuka
New Liberty Baptist Church - Iuka
Farm Bureau- Iuka
Hometown Pizza- Iuka
Lori Lawson - Burnsville Subway
We would also like to thank Diane Kennedy, Becky Wilburn, Allison Parker, Heather Wicks, and Torie Burcham for reaching out to these churches and businesses to make sure the kids were fed. They also worked to serve the lunches and clean up afterwards.
