Tishomingo County 4H and FFA participated in the Alcorn Co Fair Livestock Show on Saturday, September 17th. Our county was well represented with amazing participants and a bonus of high placed showman, blue ribbons, and champion bull.
Audrey Lowrey showed in under 8 showmanship.
Annlee Lowrey showed in 10-11 showmanship.
Milleigh Hayes McGee showed in under 8 showmanship.
Anna Kate McGee placed 3rd in 8-9 showmanship and 2nd in senior winter no-brahma heifer class.
Noah Sheffield and his bull, Go’In Rogue, placed 1st Early Junior Yearling Bulls, 2nd in showmanship, and won Champion Hereford bull.
Cela-Cathryn Taylor placed 5th in showmanship and placed 2nd in Early Junior Heifers.
Claire-Mann Taylor placed 3rd in showmanship and placed 2nd with Miss Dallas in Senior Yearling Heifers. She and her bull, Taylor’s Bruce Wayne, placed 1st in Early Junior Bull Calves.
Grayson Whirley showed in 8-9 showmanship.
Upcoming Livestock Shows include State Fair October 8-11, Lowndes County Livestock Show on November 5th and Marshall County on November 5th.
