Volleyball has had a very successful week. On Thursday, the Lady Braves traveled just up the road to take on Corinth. From the start of the game to the finish line, they were always one step ahead of the Corinth Lady Warriors. TC would win the game 3-0. They have continued to show us all the improvement that they have made this year. Before the game on Thursday however, there was an injury. Middle blocker Margret Claire Riley has gone down with a hand injury. We wish her all the best in her recovery and return to the court.
Highlight performance of the game would definitely be Reese Moore. She had an absolutely historic performance, scoring 25 kills throughout the game. This is made even more impressive when you consider the fact that it was only a three set game. She’s been the Lady Brave’s main scoring threat this season, and will look to continue to impress on the court. The Lady Braves are set to take on two huge division foes this week. They play Ripley on Tuesday and New Albany on Thursday.
