Local officials, family, and friends gathered to cut the ribbon for Sweet Scoops. Owner Amber Foote reported that “we offer the tastiest treats in town, everything from 16 flavors of Blue Bell ice cream to specialty shakes, snow cones, hot fudge cake, cookies, etc. We guarantee you won’t be able to resist our sweet treats.”
Fifth District Supervisor Greg Collier said that “we thank Amber for investing in our community. We predict Sweet Scoops will be the most popular stop in town.”
Mayor Buddy Wiltshire reported that “Sweet Scoops is a welcome addition to our business community and is much appreciated by those of us who cannot resist sweet treats.”
Sweet Scoops is located at 89 Main Street in Belmont. Open hours are noon to 9 PM Monday thru Thursday, noon to 10 PM Friday and Saturday, and 1 PM to 8 PM on Sunday. The telephone number is 662-740-9166. Find us on Facebook.
