Nya Reno, a 3-year starter with the Tishomingo County High School Softball team recently signed to play with the Jackson State Community College Green Jays in Jackson, Tennessee. Nya had a .300 career batting average at TC, playing every position except pitcher.
According to Coach Jerry Long, “Nya is very worthy of this scholarship. She is one of our hardest workers and the coaches are very proud of her work ethic and her attitude. One of the best players I have coached, God Bless.” Nya is the daughter of Randy Reno and Amanda Thompson.
