Tommy "Tom" JR Barber, 88, of Iuka, Mississippi died on Monday, March 13, 2023, at his residence. Tom enjoyed hunting, woodworking, restoring cars, and doing yard work. His favorite pastimes were watching the Green Bay Packers play football and spending time with his family. He was survived by his children, Brina Stiefelmayer (Gene), Debbie Schultz (Mike), Rob Hutchings (Leah), and Dr. David Hutchings (Tammy); his grandchildren, Jakob Stiefelmayer (Eden), Noah Stiefelmayer, Maegan Schultz, Jessica Schultz, Brittany Gerlach (Brandon), Kristian Kantrovich (Matthew), Jeffrey Mikos (Ashley), Shelby Hutchings, Alaina Hutchings, Molly Hutchings, Jackson Hutchings, Preston Hutchings, Audrey Hutchings; 5 great-grandchildren; and his niece, Beth Jones (Andy). He was preceded in death by his first wife, Isabell Barber; his second wife, Shirley Barber; his parents, Stephen Thomas and Sarah Ethel Faulkner Barber; his children, Sandy Barber and Lisa Mikos; his grandchildren, Robbie Hutchings and Drew Hutchings; and his brother, Joe Darrel Barber. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, Mississippi is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m., at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Services are scheduled for Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 3 p.m., at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. James Rich. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gene Stiefelmayer, Mike Schultz, Rob Hutchings, David Hutchings, Noah Stiefelmayer, Jakob Stiefelmayer, Jackson Hutchings, and Jeff Gann.
