A reader sent in this photo of the old Nixon barn dated about 1900 for you to enjoy. Do you remember it? It was located between Forked Oak and Cairo, and the men in the photo are identified as:
Robert Arden (1886-1974) buried at Forked Oak, Tishomingo County
Oscar Lafayette (1883-1962) buried at Tishomingo Cemetery
Lemuel Otto (1880-1969) buried at Memorial Park, Memphis.
James Frederick (1846-1917) buried at Tishomingo Cemetery
Nimrod Porter (1846-1917) buried at New Lebanon, Tishomingo County
and Clinton Kelly (1890-1976), buried at New Prospect, Tishomingo County.
Oddly enough, no one named Nixon in the photo of this fine barn.
