ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL BUSINESS DISTRICT FOR THE
TOWN OF BURNSVILLE, MISSISSIPPI
Be it resolved and ordained by the Mayor and Board of Alderman for the Town of Burnsville, Mississippi that on the 5th day of January 2023 did adopt an ordinance and map establishing a Commercial Business District for the Town to establish a designated physical area for the conduct of all commercial and business activities in the Town. Be it further resolved that pursuant to Section 21-17-19 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, as annotated and amended, do hereby ordain that the summary of this ordinance be published in a paper of general publication in Tishomingo County, Mississippi and that said ordinance will take effect on February 25, 2023, and thereafter. The Town of Burnsville does further ordain and resolve that the entire ordinance and map designating the commercial business district for the Town is posted at the Burnsville City Hall, the Burnsville Public Library, and the Burnsville Chamber of Commerce. A full copy of said ordinance and map establishing the commercial business district is available at the Burnsville City Hall at 38 Gross Avenue, Burnsville, Mississippi upon request of the same from the Town Clerk.

Be it resolved and ordained by the Mayor and Board of Alderman for the Town of Burnsville, Mississippi that on the 5th day of January 2023 did adopt an ordinance governing all commercial activities related to the cultivation, processing, testing, and transfer and sale of medical cannabis as authorized by the Mississippi Medical Cannabis Act in the Town of Burnsville, Mississippi. Said Ordinance designates the physical boundaries by the adoption of a Commercial Business District Map for the Town of Burnsville which regulates and governs where all medical cannabis business and commercial activities may be conducted and further establishes distances and requirements related to commercial activities related to medical cannabis as established in the Mississippi Medical Cannabis Act.
