Herons Landing ideal option for family vacation rental

Posted

In our last installment, we featured Beverly Milligan White, the owner of Pickwick Cabin Rentals. With more than 20 years in the rental business and more than 50 properties for rent across the tri-state area, Beverly has built a rental empire on the lake. Herons Landing was one of the first properties she took over in her Property Management business, and with its proximity to Grand Harbor, it has been a successful rental property, both for the owners and those who frequently use it for family vacations.
Heron’s Landing, aptly named for the beautiful blue herons that can be seen on the lake, combines all of the best parts of the lake experience at Pickwick. This gorgeous home was built after the previous homeowner was so pleased with Beverly’s management with his other two lake homes, that he built Heron’s Landing, combining the best features of those two for the perfect vacation rental.
Of course, it sits directly on the water, tucked away into a sheltered cove to protect your boat or watercraft tied up to the dock from the Tennessee River traffic. It also provides a relaxing place for swimming or sunbathing without the massive amounts of wake that other properties may receive. It has 5 bedrooms and 4.5 baths. All of them are tastefully decorated to make you feel like your home away from home. There are two spacious living areas, one on the main floor, and one downstairs with its own wet bar. Two covered decks allow for uninterrupted views of the water. Plenty of parking is available too since this property can sleep up to 18, making this perfect for a large family reunion or gathering of friends.
On average, the house can run around $800 a night, but that seems like a bargain with the amazing views, size of the home, and its location close to everything. Plus, pets are allowed, which is relatively rare in the Pickwick rental market. For more information on this property, you can visit pickwickcabins.com/herons-landing
With most of her clients being repeat business, she is heavily reliant on referrals and local advertising to keep her rentals occupied throughout the year. In order to capitalize on the ups and downs of the lake season, she offers great off-season specials to entice people to relax at the lake year-round. She is anticipating an extremely busy summer with even more rental properties to add to her portfolio.
So, for a great vacation on the lake, check out Pickwick Cabin Rentals.
