GOLDEN, Miss. – The Golden Volunteer Fire Department is inviting the community to join them on Saturday, March 29, 2025, for a fundraiser event at the fire station, located at 226 Front Street in Golden. The event kicks off at 3 p.m. and serves as the launch for the department’s much-anticipated 2025 Deep Fry Treats fundraiser.
This year, the fire department has added new items to the menu, giving attendees even more delicious options to enjoy while supporting a vital cause. Proceeds from the event will help ensure that the department has the resources it needs to respond in times of emergency.
“We rely on community support so that when you need us, we can be there,” the department shared in a statement.
Residents are encouraged to come out, enjoy some great food, and contribute to a cause that benefits the entire community. Whether you’re a longtime supporter or a first-time attendee, your participation helps keep the Golden Volunteer Fire Department prepared for any emergency.
