Tishomingo County Braves lost their first home game of the season to Ripley Tigers, with the final score being 3-1. Sophomore Jackson Moore pitched well with 0 earned runs. Senior Ashton Brown pitched relief. Freshman Bo Crum and Senior Dylan Kirk both got great hits. Bo lead the bats with two hits, including a triple. Dylan led in stolen bases.
TC Baseball started off their season at the Kossuth Jamboree last weekend.
They played Baldwyn and Biggersville The first game against Baldwyn, Dylan Kirk started the season off strong w a lead off double. He stole third, and then scored on a hit. Jackson Moore and Jake Wilmeth both pitched and did great, finishing the game with a 4-1 win.
Second game, the boys won against Biggersville 7-5. Ashton Hall hit one out for a 2 run homer, and the first home run of the season. Bo Crum started the game pitching, giving up no runs in the first two innings. Ashton Hall and Blayne Sparks pitched relief, securing the win.
