Before Homecoming festivities begin, the Braves Football team is focused on an important game at home this Friday night against Kossuth Aggies. The Braves currently sit at 2-0 after their win against Strayhorn last week. They are hoping to keep that momentum going this week.
A full week of activities are planned for next week building excitement for Friday Night Lights on September 20, as the Braves take on Mantachie Troopers. The Homecoming Court will be presented at halftime of the game with the Queen announced at that time.
Senior Homecoming Court and their escorts are as follows: Senior Maid Emily Kate Barnes and escort, Jackson Moore, Football Sweetheart Alaina Hyde and escort, Chase Booker, Senior Maid Mattie Orick and escort, John Thomas Barnes, Senior Maid Danica Calley and escort, Sayben South, Senior Maid Ainsley Marlar and escort, Will Lewis, Senior Maid Teegan Brown and escort, Wesley Baker, and Senior Maid Sarabeth Twitty and escort, Spencer White.

Let’s pack the stands this Friday night to support our Braves who have worked hard during the off season.
This Friday night’s theme for Braves Football is “Lights Out Aggies.” Let’s black out the stands and cheer the Braves on to a victory.
Next week will begin the Homecoming festivities with a daily dress up theme. Monday is Hero’s vs Princess/Marvel vs. Disney, Tuesday is Toddler vs. Senior Citizen, Wednesday is Cartoon Channel (Dress as your favorite childhood cartoon/tv show character), Thursday is Dress as your Favorite Holiday, and Friday is Braves Spirit wear your homecoming t-shirt or your best Brave Spirit Day attire. Do not forget about the Homecoming Parade and Tailgate on Tuesday night on the TC Campus.
